I Love my Journal
My heroine is Marilyn Monroe, a much maligned star of the screen. Known for her beauty, understandably, an icon, I love more than her public persona. She was also a woman who loved books. She always carried a notebook, took notes, did research, learned about things she heard but didn’t understand. Controversially, that book disappeared after her death. Don’t get me started on conspiracies.
Why Now?
I am a firm believer in the power of a piece of paper, and the words they can hold. Sound a bit woo woo? Maybe, but no matter how much technology, or maybe because of the ever increasing tech we surround ourselves with, the power of a piece of paper is even more profound. My first piece of advice to someone who wants to write, start a business, change their life, is to get a notebook. It made sense to start my own notepad and journal merch / product line. This is the first.
