My first piece of advice to someone who wants to write, start a business, change their life, is to get a notebook. It made sense to start my own notepad and journal merch / product line.
This action-packed children’s book is perfect for ocean and sea loving kids. It’s packed with fun puzzles, colouring pages and other brain teasing adventures.
When I suggested this project to my grand babies, the first thing they asked for ‘why?’ I saw confusion flash across their faces when I said ‘for fun’, but they immediately want to take part. The small things in life don’t have to cost money or make money.
We can save money and resources by reusing, recycling, redesigning, but to me it’s more than that. It’s seeing the beauty and use in the small things.
Life is full of opportunities but also bumps in the road. Things that push us off track and hold us back. Procrastination or fear? I’d known in the back of my mind what the problem was, but kept brushing it aside, making excuses.
We must overcome our fear of letting go of things.
Allow ourselves time to indulge our creativity, to nourish ourselves physically and spiritually and share our gift and joy with our community.
PLEASE don’t sign up for things without really digging deep and finding out your options.
I love to pick specific global communities to support workers in a country of my choice. This ties in with my ethics policy of giving back.
The temptation when you reach midlife is to look back at what you’ve achieved.
That’s great. If you’ve achieved things, fantastic.
But those days have been and gone. They’re behind you. It’s time now to look forward.
No more ‘rose-coloured glasses’ conversations that begin with ‘Do you remember when…’
The power is already there, and it’s really important that we make sure that we use these voice technologies, our voices contribute to them. The more voices they hear, the more diverse voices they hear.

When we work on our own, or outside the traditional employment system, it’s difficult to allow ourselves rewards.
When your boss gives you a bonus, it’s a great boost to your ego and of course the bank balance. It is also confirmation of a job well done.
Shifting from its base seems at odds with the ‘niche down to succeed’ philosophy doesn’t it?

More importantly do you want to make it look and feel amazing, and totally reflect your and your family personality.
Photowall is amazing. How about a jungle, a wall of books, a gorgeous flower or abstract design?
Daily meditation, stretches you get the idea (even for 5 minutes a day) they have honestly helped me stay calm and grounded lately.
Whether it’s an autobiography, unicorn fantasy, zombie horror or any other great story, your words are unique, and it’s about time you got that book out there isn’t it?
