Why it’s OK to write a standard, a classic format mystery story.
Writing isn’t hard, it’s a privilege. It’s not brain surgery, or nursing in a Covid packed ward. I know I’m so, so, so lucky to do what I do.
Stephen King says if you don’t have time to read, you won’t become a writer. Harsh but true!
You need to get that story told, get it committed to words on a page or a computer screen. Once it’s down, mistakes included, you start the rewarding, repetitive often heartbreaking process of editing.
I discuss the book which was a shocker, in a good way.
My passion for books isn’t fussy, it’s across all genres, and I’ve reviewed fiction, non-fiction, futurist, classic and even children’s books over the past few weeks.
I definitely think you can learn from it, especially if you’re a writer of crime or non fiction.
The wonderful thing about being a writer, or entrepreneur is seeing a product reach the final stages, prior to launch.
I’m uncomfortable about reviewing this one, which might surprise people.
